slouching mom

He is absolutely beautiful. Try not let the "How much milk is he getting?" question plague you. If he's growing (and he obviously is), and if his poops are yellowish, then all is well.

I know, I know, I'm full of a*svice, aren't I?

Congratulations, lady. Enjoy him.

Andria

Can I come hug him, and kiss him? Seriously, he is totally smoochable! Good job, mama :)

Catherine

He is gorgeous!

You'll have those weird discussions with DH and with other mothers. It's very very surreal to find yourself thinking, "Am I really talking about this?" :o)

Don't worry about the breastmilk production. If he's pooping and peeing and gaining weight, you're doing fine.

Lori

I'm still wanting to get a glimpse at your mailman to see if he has blonde hair! LOL!!

Andy is so cute. He looks like a grown up little man.

He is just so beautiful. I worried that my daughter wasn't get enough either...but for me I just could never pump very much...but she was growing well. I still worried about it though.

Sending Andy a huge cyber hug...he is just beautiful!

Goodness he's adorable. And I'm still laughing at the argument over poop in the ped office. Can't wait to have those discussions myself.

I am so glad you left that OB. I can't believe how inattentive they were - oh wait, yes I can, because my old OB was too.

Hmm.. my last comment didn't seem to post. But maybe it will pop up later, so I won't repeat what I said except to say, ha... poop battles. My friends have told me it can become a weird preoccupation. Andy looks so fabulous and happy!

Monica

He looks so different with his eyes open and his clothes on! He's so cute!

mkv

Too cute - keep the pictures coming! And I must say, the Venn Diagram comment made me bust out laughing! ;)

The Nanny

He is SO cute!!! I love those little lips. Need a nanny? :-)

SaraS-P

He is adorable!

Good luck with all the worries and comparisons worthy of Venn diagrams!

DD

Can I just say, he has the cutest little chin? I know. What a strange body part to mention, but really. It's adorable.

Ah yes. The family arguments about poop, its color and consistency....

Michelle Z

He is amazing & gorgeous! I know you'll enjoy him everyday.

And - I regularly blog about poop - that's what parenting is really about, apparently!

Coggy

Wow, he's such a bonny little chap and he looks like the photo of you as a girl on your blog.
Good luck with all the poop colour coding!

awww..too cute
as for the poo, breastfed babies have a mustard yellow until they start solids, and sometimes it will be more greenish if you at a lot of iron rich foods like red meat. haha. yeah, poo, interesting.

What a cutie.
I can relate to stressing about if he's getting enough milk. In fact, the doctor's office will let you bring him in to weigh and make sure he's gaining weight. You don't need to make an appointment. It will help put your mind at ease.

niobe

oooooh....he's just adorable.

Maybe you can put the Venn Diagram in you next post.

Kristi

He's so cute! Can't wait to see him again.

Bon

he's lovely, Monica...so new and sweet.

and i feel you on the eyebrows...my firstborn, who came at 26 weeks, practically had a monobrow (like his brunette parents), but his brother is a blond who didn't get eyebrows until he was five months old! go figure.

and yes, i compared. for the first month of O's life, i found it hard to process that i had him but couldn't have his brother back. it wasn't that i would have traded...it was just a lot for the heart to take in.

it will come, the understanding of who each of your boys is to you.

Monica

Thanks exactly what it is Bon... why can't I have his brother back.
