WOW to a big baby! I am so happy for you! Praying you see the end with a little one in your arms to keep.

OK Sunny.. why are we both up in the wee hours of the night/morning? We are really going to be dragging in our classrooms today! Thanks for the prayers.

Wow! He's so big. I'm so excited to read such a positive, hopeful, happy report. These are going to be long weeks but they are going to pass soon. I cannot wait to hear he's coming home.

So I have to ask (and I apologize if I missed it earlier), but did you cut the tags out of Critter's clothes?

They measured X normal/big, too. He was only 5lbs 12oz at term. I'm still not sure what the heck my OB was measuring, but I'm thinking he had to have used the femur length and just calculated since he was normal length at 19".

MichelleB're my hero. I have to cut tags. I have to wash things. I have to pack my bag. Will you come do it all for me?

Hola, gordito! Tu mama esta loca!

So glad to hear a good report. I don't want any real size estimates. I'm sure they'd freak me out.

DD, I cut the tags off of almost all his things (but then I bought more and those still have tags). Some of the newborn things I left the tags on in case he really is huge so I won't have to return them. Yeah, I've heard the estimates can be off. I do think he's pretty big though because Jimmy weighed 8lbs 11 oz and he has the single umbilical artery which usually makes SGA (small for gestational age) babies. I'll find out soon enough though!

Oh, he sounds as if he's going to be as big as Jack was!

I'm very excited for you.

I understand why these days ahead will seem long, and I'm sending you strength to get through them.

Oh I know only too well what its like to 'be pretty sure' you will bring a baby home. I can't wait to read your birth story and hear that your little one cried out really loud when born.

Here's hoping the weeks fly by!! Can't wait to read about this little guy's safe arrival!

Jenn (froggy-mom)

Yay on the good scan and for a big healthy boy! Only a few more weeks to go! I'm so envious, and so proud of you for being so strong. Jimmy and Critter have a great mom. :)

Don't worry about it too much. They told me Emmie was gonna be ten pounds and she was only eight. He's probably gonna be long and lean like his Daddy. A true Texan. Hope you are well!
